She was born in Lansing, IL on Februand lived in the Lansing area for most of her life. ![]() She is survived by her son, Barry Joe Haak of Alvarado, Texas daughter, Deanna Jones and husband, Darron of Crowley, Texas grandchildren, Brandon and Bailey Haak, Blaine and Neil Jones brother Bill Morris of McKinney, Texas sisters Zelma Daniels and husband, Tom, of Purdon, Texas and Janice Hargrove and husband Glenn of Kennedale, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. HAAK - Johanna Poortinga Haak, 95 years old, of Grand Rapids, died on Jat Faith Hospice Trillium Woods, Byron Center. Haak was preceded in death by her husband and parents sisters, Ruby Morris and Barbara Connally and brother, Wendell Morris. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She had an outgoing personality and had many close friends. Haak loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Her and her husband also served as foster parents. He was predeceased by : his mother Hazel Marek his siblings, Ron Haak, Sr., David Marek, Larry Marek, Mike Marek, Sr. Worth grandson & wife, Danny & Christina Montgomery of Lufkin grandson & wife, Robert & Brooklyne Haak II of Wylie great granddaughter &. She worked as a bookkeeper for various companies until retiring from Texas Farm Bureau Insurance in Waco in 1999. She moved to Waco and after graduating from University High School, she married Billy Joe Haak in 1961. She was born in Navarro County, Texas on Mato Bill and Minnie Mae (Nutt) Morris. on Wednesday, Decemat Rosser Funeral Home. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6 - 8 p.m. at Waco Memorial Cemetery in Waco, Texas. Thursday, Decemat First Baptist Church of Cleburne with Dr. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Anna Mae Haak of Burleson passed away Sunday, Decemin Fort Worth, Texas.
